Release Form

All Hunters need to complete a release form for this coming season.

Hunting License

Riders need to purchase a small animal hunting license for 2009-2010. Although Lowcountry does not kill anything, if stopped riders need to have license to avoid a fine. Licenses can be kept in helmet.

Adopt a Hound This Season

We would like to thank the Lowcountry Hunt members and friends for their support of our “Hound Adoption” program. This has been and will be a tremendous aid to Lowcountry Hunt. As you know feed prices have increased so the moneys so generously donated will assist us in feeding and the care of our hounds for this season. We still have many hounds that are ready to be adopted. Individuals or groups may adopt hounds.

  • $300 will pay for feed for the season
  • $450 will pay for feeding of the hound for the season

We take special care of our marvelous hounds. They are wormed, monthly; receive numerous ear washes, treatment for ticks and fleas, and vaccinations on a routine basis. If you are interested in the adoption of a hound, please call or email Melinda. Talk to any one of the staff and they will be happy to tell you about your special hound! Your support is greatly appreciated.

Thank you “adoptive parents” for your generous donations. Please check the list and make sure we have not made any mistakes. Closing Meet was very busy with a great deal of excitement. We want to make sure our information is correct. Also, Virginia and Beth are preparing to enter this information along with pictures of the hounds on our website. If anyone does not want their name listed with their adopted hound, please let us know as soon as possible.
