At Lowcountry Hunt, we kick off our hound exercises on horseback in early Autumn as our southern summer weather is starting to cool.

 

For those who are eager to learn more about the world of foxhunting, Members who are eager to leg up their horses alongside the hounds, or riders who want to hone cross-country riding skills at a more relaxed pace, we warmly invite you to join us for 'Roading' before our hunting season begins.

 

Check out the Roading Schedule below for more details on dates & times, and be sure to reach out to our Honorary Secretary with any questions ahead of the days you'd like to participate.

 For Roading, riders are invited to ride English or Western.

Requested attire for Autumn Roading is tidy equestrian apparel.

​

• Lowcountry Hunt polos, polo shirts or sun shirts.

• Any color of breeches or riding pants. 

• Clean saddle pads, clean tack, boots and helmets are always in style and always required.
